Hounslow Safeguarding Boards are committed to your continued professional development and to enhance your learning please make full use of the resources offered.

We offer over 20 offline (face to face) safeguarding children courses. To view these offline courses please click here.

Learners can also self-register for access to over 50 online courses relating to safeguarding adults and children. To view all courses please click here.

Online courses are free to Hounslow partner agencies. Charges apply for private and profit making organisations (such as fee-paying Schools and Dentists, see below).

Please note failure to complete chosen courses within four weeks of registration will incur a charge of £35 + VAT to your organisation.

Once registered, you can then login to your Learner Record and request your course(s) via your ‘Requested Learning Tab’ - all requested courses will then appear instantly on your ‘Active Learning Tab’. To ensure your user name remains unique we recommend using your email address for your user name.

Private and for profit organisations can purchase the training from the Virtual College website. If four or more licences are being purchased in one transaction, then a discount may be available. In this instance please contact the Safeguarding e-Academy, by calling 01943 885083, or emailing healthandsocialcare@virtual-college.co.uk. Please quote the promotional code LBHOUNSLOW, the course you are applying for, and the number of licences you require. You will receive a £5.00 discount per licence on eligible courses on the normal £30.00 per user cost.
